This is a RecPro IP68 Full Waterproof RV Awning light kit w/ PC Mounting Channel for Permanent Installation. Unlike our competitors, this light is meant to last and does not need to be taken on and off or plugged and unplugged every time you open and close your awning. Like all of the products we sell they are used by the OEM and installed on brand new units every day so they are tried and true... This kit is specifically designed for recreational vehicles, do not be fooled by the other sellers that sell the IP65 Crystal ResinWaterproof LED strip light. We have been down this path, it will not hold up to the elements. The OEM is using this Full Waterproof IP68 w/ Mounting channel in production units. This strip is covered in Crystal Resin like the IP65 but it's also encased in another Silicone sleeve, this gives you double the protection from the elements. Then this LED strip is installed in the UV treated Polycarbonate mounting track/channel.
