Product Description

With this high quality solar powered light, you will no longer need to waste electricity during the day time.

This is great for rooms with no outside windows, like bathrooms, closets, sheds, garages, etc. It also works great in any room where you want a little additional supplemental light.

The broad spectrum of this light mimics the light color of the Sun (5700K-5800K), so you can also use it as a grow light, but it won't cost you anything to run it.

Installation is much cheaper and easier than adding either a traditional skylight, or a tubular skylight. Also, it is much more energy efficient because you are not exposing your living space to hot attic air. This light works just like a normal skylight, when the Sun is shining, the light is automatically on. When the Sun goes down or is obscured by clouds, the light turns off.

The features of this Rand Solar LED Skylight are as follows:
The included 14W aluminum framed solar panel provides the electricity for the light.
The panel includes a 19' cord that simply plugs into the light for connection.
The square 11.75" per side LED ceiling light is rated at 8W and puts out the equivalent of a 50W incandescent bulb. This is ample light for a normal bathroom use.
Great for any room in your home.

This Solar LED Skylight is very easy to install. The solar panel can be placed in any sunny area. It could be mounted to a gutter, or anywhere on the roof, etc. The light fixture is normally installed with a surface mount. The light can be mounted to the ceiling with either screws, construction adhesive or high strength double sided tape (3M make several varieties). If you are using screw mounting, simply drill mounting holes in the light frame where you want them. Then screw the light to the ceiling. Then, simply connect the wire from the solar panel that is mounted outdoors, to the light through the attic or above ceiling.
