FAKRO 65046 SLT-14 Flexible Light Tunnel

Supplying your home or business with natural light, the FAKRO SLT flexible light tunnel (model SLT-14) easily fits around any constructional obstacles, helping to reduce the cost and time of installation. This version of the SLT has a 14-inch diameter and a 7-foot tube length. It makes it possible to brighten rooms in your home or business even if they can't be fitted with roof windows or vertical windows. It's ideal for adding natural light to bathrooms, dressing rooms, corridors, staircases, basements and more. The SLT light tunnel leads daylight, which enters the light spreading tube through a dome mounted onto the roof. The sun's rays are reflected off the walls of the flexible tube on to the light diffuser fitted into an internal ceiling. The diffuser spreads the light, evenly lighting the whole inside of the room. Thanks to the combination of shape, height and polymethacrylate construction material, the dome is resistant to damage and provides a self-cleaning effect. The low electrostatic activity of the dome's surface ensures that dust only lightly adheres to the dome and is easily washed away by rain. This light tunnel is suitable for roofs with pitches from 15 to 60 degrees as well as flat roofs. Specially prepared flashings guarantee easy and water tight installation (flashing sold separately) and there are two types of flashing available (for flat and profiled roof coverings). The light tunnel may also be used at night by installing a light kit (sold separately) and it can be extended using the FAKRO SLM extension kit for flexible light tunnels. It's covered by a 7-year limited warranty.
